Shipping and Refund

Shipping policy

We make every effort to process your order as quickly as possible and give you the best flat shipping rates available. All days referenced are working days (Monday - Friday). Any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday. All orders are shipped from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been shipped. Once your order has been processed, you should receive your parcel within 1-3 working days.

Local Area (Dubai city, excluded remote areas in Dubai Emirate)

Free local delivery is available for orders over 300 AED within the United Arab Emirates. For orders under 300 AED, we charge 26 AED for local delivery (excluding remote area).

Remote Area (outside Dubai city and other Emirates)

Remote area delivery charges within UAE will be 10 AED on top of basic delivery charges (36 AED) for orders under 300 AED. Delivery charges for orders above 300 AED will be 10 AED.

We do not offer international shipping outside the UAE yet, but we plan on doing so soon.


You can pay your order online via debit/credit card or by cash on delivery.

Return Policy

All sales are final when purchasing fabrics. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect purchases or change of mind once fabric has been cut.

Regarding our handmade products (loincloths, cushion covers, etc.), all sales are final too. Because these products are artisan products and delicate, we do not accept returns. By purchasing these products on our e-shop, you accept the fact that you cannot send them back.

Please follow the care instructions as outlined in the product description or care instructions page as we are unable to accept claims on fabrics and products which have been laundered incorrectly. The color of fabrics and products as depicted online cannot be guaranteed by La Cotonnerie due to variances beyond our control such as computer monitor settings.

Damages and Issues

In the unlikely event that we have sent you the wrong fabric or that your fabric has arrived faulty, we will replace the fabric at no charge or if we are unable to do this due to the product being unavailable, we will refund both the fabric cost and the shipping fee (if applicable).

Please email us as soon as possible and within 14 days at with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.


In case we receive a cancellation notice from you and the order has not been shipped by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount directly back to the account, in case payment has already been made. The orders that have already been shipped by us will not be covered under our refund policy.
